Financial Updates

Hockey Canada has a new system for the e-hockey and coach profiles.. which can be found through this ten step guide in the link here:

From my experiences, coaches jump the gun and have not linked a member, therefore nothing will show up on their profile. Steps 7-10 are the most important.

Coaching Prerequisites:

  • All Coaches are required to take the HU ONLINE COACH 1/ COACH 2: HU Coach 1/ Coach 2 Online Course . If you have already completed the course, you are not required to do it again. Once you have this completed you can then take either Coach 1 or 2 whichever one you require.

Coach 1 (U7-U9) Thurs Oct 28

  • All coaches must register and complete the HU Coach 1/Coach2 online portion prior to attending the in person training
  • To register for Coach 1  click this link:
  • Coach 1 Online Registration and Course
  • Classroom 5:30-7:30 at Rothesay Arena (upstairs)
  • On Ice at QMA 8:15pm -  Leave Rothesay arena and go directly to on ice session at QMA to begin at 8:15pm

Coach 2 (U11 -U18) Thurs Nov 4

  • All coaches must register and complete the online portion (HU Coach 1/Coach 2) prior to attending the in person training
  • To register for Coach 2 click on this link:
  • Coach 2 Online Registration and Course
  • Classroom 5:30-7:30 at Rothesay Arena (upstairs)
  • On Ice at QMA 8:15pm -  Leave Rothesay arena and go directly to on ice session at QMA to begin at 8:15pm

Items to bring:

  • Pen and paper
  • Helmet, gloves, stick, and track suit for on ice session

2021-22 KVMHA Season Registration August 18th opens at 9 am

Please take a few minutes to read this message - it will save you time when you complete your registration.

Registration will be a little different this year due to changes in the Hockey Canada system. All families must create new accounts with the new Hockey Canada system (HCR 3.0) as they changed their software this year…..we appreciate your patience with this.

NEW IN 2021-22: Create your Hockey Canada Registry (HCR 3.0) Account and find your players Hockey Canada ID

Go to the new Spordle Hockey Canada 3.0 registry

  1. Create an account (as a parent) using the email address you use frequently. Each parent can do this and link their children.
  2. Go to Members  tab.
  3. Find and click the blue icon that looks like a person with a + on the right (by the head). To link your children to your account, you will need to search for them by name and birthdate.  When you see their name, select link this member and write down their Hockey Canada ID.
  4. If you volunteer or coach with you can also search your own name and link your qualifications to the account.
  5. If your player is brand new to hockey you should be able to add them as a new player…..if you need assistance please email
  6. You are now ready to register for the season.

Be sure to use the same name and birth date that is in the Hockey Canada system.

Be sure to fill put in your players Hockey Canada ID. If you are brand new to hockey, please put “new” in the Hockey Canada ID.

You will be asked to sign a couple of waivers – photo release and parental code of conduct. You will also have a chance to let us know if you would like to volunteer with us.

Payments may be made by credit card in one payment or split up into three installments – (registration, October 22nd and November 19th). E-transfers are also accepted, please send to and with a password of Hockey is one is needed. Installments are also possible by splitting the fees in 3 equal amounts and e-transferring them as per the schedule for credit card payments.

We recognize that Covid and other factors may affect families ability to participate in hockey. Financial assistance may available from PRO kids, Jumpstart and the Hockey Assist Fund. Please contact these agencies directly for assistance. If any of these agencies are assisting with registration fees, please notify the Registrar at so we are aware.

Stay tuned for tryout registration for U11, U13, U15 and U18. Registration will be posted soon.

2020 - 2021 Splits Results (SNBMHL Team Divisions)

2020-21 Splits Results

It’s time to register for the second half of the KVMHA Hockey Season. We are hopeful we can stay in the yellow phase so we are able to play games etc. We would like to thank everyone for their patience so far this season. We know it was difficult to be playing games and then suddenly have to stop and only have solo ice practices but this was required by Public Health to ensure for player and team staff safety.

Costs for ice remain the same no matter how many teams are on the ice. Ice rates also went up this year and we have done our best to keep registration fees reasonable. We are hoping with KVMHA Ice Rush 50/50 draw will help us in the future with registration costs.

Please register for the second half of the season using this link. Three split payments by credit card are possible. There is a spot when you enter credit card information where you turn split payments on.

Registration is due by December 14th at 12:00 pm. This is being done to make sure rosters can be updated in the Hockey Canada system. You will be asked for some basic information again including your hockey Canada account number.

Players must have registered for the first half of the season to register for the second half.

We realize that Covid has affected employment status for many. Please email if you need to discuss options to ensure your player(s) can hit the ice.

Here is the cost breakdown for the second half of the season which starts after Christmas. The cost is the same for female, coed, recreational and competitive players.

U13 Community Hockey $60

U7 $135

U9 $190

U11 $320

U13 $320

U15 $320

U18 $320

Thank you and we will see you back at the rink!!

Big news!  Kennebecasis Valley Minor Hockey Association is excited to introduce our new online 50/50 fundraiser!

Money raised will go towards purchasing equipment for our programs and rinks, supporting training resources for our coaches, as well as helping us keep registration costs as low as possible. These initiatives would support the development of our players within our Minor Hockey Association.

Please pass this great news along to your family and friends and help make this a big success for the youth of KVMHA.  Thank you for your continued support.

The first draw will be December 6th with a jackpot of $5000!!

Team / Player Requests

Just a friendly reminder that team/player requests will not be accepted except under extenuating circumstances.  Any questions /concerns regarding this matter can be forwarded to the appropriate directors or division co-ordinators.

Try-Out Policy – No Spectators

Spectators of players participating in the try-out process for U11 and older must comply with the following principles regarding application of the KVMHA Guidelines:

  1. A spectator is defined as a parent, a relative, friend, teammate, athlete from opposing team, administrator or coach not directly involved in the game.
  2. Other than evaluators and approved KVMHA volunteers, there are to be no spectators within the arena while players are on the ice.
  3. Only the President, Vice-President or Director of Competitive Hockey can make an exception to the above stated guideline.

Any spectator choosing to violate any of the above rules and/or creating a disturbance, will be asked by a KVMHA Board Member, District Coordinator or chosen designate to leave the premises immediately. Failure to abide by this directive will result in the following:

  1. First offense – the player who is associated with the spectator violating the ‘no- spectator’ rule, will not be evaluated for that particular try-out.
  2. Second offense – the player who is associated with the spectator violating the ‘no- spectator’ rule will be removed from the try-out process and will not be allowed to participate with a competitive team at any Division for that current season.
